In the previous article: “Building a Home Based MLM Business – Part 1″ I told you what you shouldn’t be doing when trying to grow your own home based MLM business, and now it’s time to get to the good stuff – the things you should be doing!
First of all, you need to understand that everyone isn’t your prospects; this is never the case and never will be regardless of how awesome you think your products are yourself. If you want to run your own home based MLM business, you have to start treating your business as a real business. A network marketing business is not just a hobby – if you want to make money and become successful with your MLM business, you have to do something different from the 97 % who fail in this industry.
• First thing to do: Find out why you want to succeed, find you reason why and clarify exactly what it is you want to achieve – not just money, but why you want to make this money. This will help you stay motivated through the tough times.
• Second thing to do: Find out who your target market is. As I mentioned in part 1, thinking that everyone will be interested it what you have to offer is a huge mistake. What is the benefit of your product and opportunity, and who can you help by providing this?
• Third thing to do: Learn how to master the internet! No, a replicated website is not going to do you any good. You need to master the internet, so that people will find you by themselves and contact you to get more information on what you have to offer. This way you’ll become the solution provider and not an irritating friend that keeps bugging everybody with this amazing product and even more outstanding opportunity – people don’t want that, and I bet that you don’t find it too amusing either. By making people find you and come to you, everything will be much more easy and fun.
Of course this is not the perfect recipe on how to grow your business. But this is great guidelines that you need to follow in order to start making real money and make it all the way.
