Do You Have To be Lucky To Succeed?
In a couple of days I’m going to Las Vegas, and that got me thinking. Going to Vegas, most people are hoping to get really lucky and win some money, right? They hope that they will come home with much more than they came with, because if they are just lucky enough, that is the result they can get by gambling.
And sure, that certainly can happen, but for most people this is not how it goes. Most people end up losing too much money because they are so eager to win. And as I mentioned, this really got me thinking. Now, lets’ try and compare this Las Vegas dream with the real life.
How many people are succeeding (winning) in their attempt to grow a business? Well, these people are a minority, exactly as the people who leaves Vegas with much more than they came with. So what I’m trying to say is, that many people thinks that succeeding and being lucky goes hand in hand, and guess what, it doesn’t – not in real life anyway.
If you want to really succeed and make some real money, you can’t depend on you being lucky. Your success is only determined by the time, effort and hard work you put into your business. It really doesn’t matter what business it is – if you are just waiting to get lucky, success is not going to happen for you. If you think that the successful people in this world got there by being lucky, think again. In Vegas you need to be lucky, but don’t make the mistake and think that this is how you will succeed – growing a business, any business, is depending 100 % on YOU, your skill set, your want and desire and how persistent you are.
The Las Vegas dream is certainly not bad – at least not if you are aware of the fact that for most it’s just a dream and that growing a business takes much more that just being lucky.
The point with this article is really to remind you that you have to take action to succeed, and you shouldn’t just sit around waiting for it to happen – believe me, no one gets that lucky. Save you luck for Las Vegas and put time and effort into your business – I know I will!

I totally agree – success isn’t down to luck, it’s down to what we make happen in our own lives. Definitely doesn’t work to sit aroung waiting for things to happen. And I don’t mind, anyway, because when I work hard the success feels deserved
