I hope you had a lovely thanks giving and you gave your thanks. Truly, there are so much and so many people we can (and should) give thanks to.

However, giving thanks is pretty much always a post event situation, something have happened and somehow, some way it improved your quality of life. It (or him or her) made you feel better, stronger, inspired, grateful and in return you are giving them your thanks.

I found this inspiring video on YouTube and it made me think, now with Thanks Giving silently passing away as Christmas is sneaking in on us, all the thanks we are giving and receiving these days is great – but what about validation?

A different concept, yet closely related. By validating someone you are giving them a complement with no intention of receiving anything in return. Well, of course sometimes it’s the beginning of a conversation or a relationship, e.g. if we are in a bar or something like that, but I’m referring to a situation where you are validating someone and you move on with your life. Do you do that often? Improve other peoples life with no expectation of getting anything in return?

The universe, our creator (whatever your religion or belief) the universe work in mysterious ways.

Belief is, just like attention, a function in our consciousness. And by getting aware of your beliefs you will get in control over your life and future circumstances. But where do our beliefs come from? Some of them we make up ourselves and others we obtain from someone else.

Also the function of believing is a great ability of your consciousness, and it is a very powerful instrument. It shapes your reality and therefore, if you are in control of your beliefs, you can shape your reality. Sounds good? Well it is the truth. Again I am not promising you that you will get there easily, but you can certainly get there if you are ambitious about it.

Our whole life is built around beliefs. Basically a belief is a concept, something that you assume, not facts. The only thing you can be sure of is the things you have actually experienced; everything else is nothing but assumptions.

Now it is time to choose what you want to built your life around. Being an observer you will just take on the beliefs you pick up from your surroundings and this is certainly without a doubt the easiest way to live your life. This way you are not responsible for what happens in your life and hereby you cannot do anything to change it. But, if you are serious about making a change and really get in control of your life, this is not the way to go. You have to take responsibility because you truly are the only person who can do this. You have to decide what you want to believe and then later find the evidence of those beliefs in nature.

By taking responsibility you are able to create the reality you want for yourself. Not bad, right? It is very important that you become conscious about you being the creator of your life, because before you recognize this fact you will not get very far.

Most of your beliefs are many years old and come from our parents, our school, friends and television. Before getting anywhere you have to reevaluate those beliefs and choose to either accept them or dismiss them.

The next step is trying to take new choices that are different from your beliefs and thoughts about similar situations. In every situation your consciousness will process the new information and dig up old experiences. The thing most of us are using is the information we have about a similar experience and hereby act the same way as you have done in the past (this is a reaction). But try and make a choice, a new choice by analyzing the current situation and hereby get more conscious about how you will act here and now (this is an action). By actually taking action instead of just moving along with what your mind tells you, you will move further along the path that you have chosen. The important question that you must always ask yourself is whether this “new” belief is supporting what you want to create for yourself.

You have to take the choice whether you want to take responsibility for you life or not. By taking responsibility and take action you can make changes and decide in which direction your life goes. Become the master and creator of your life and you will be able to handle anything, because you will know that your current circumstances are a result of your way of thinking, your beliefs.

Are you happy doing what you’re doing? No this is not a sales pitch. I want the honest answer. No strings attached. Actually I already know the answer to this question, because I know you’re not getting the results you want and I say that with complete confidence – I know you want more for two simple reasons.

before we can give)

You have to be really passionate about what you’re doing otherwise you will get stuck in the process. But today I really wanted to talk to you about your most reliable resource/skill, not really sure what to call it without spilling the beans.

Not very long ago I had a personal student in a MLM program come to me with an issue and asked for an unusual advice. The reason I was a bit unusual was due to the fact that this kid actually made good money with his business.

His issue was the product he sold. It didn’t really get him excited and the people in his business were not the kind of people he wanted to hang out with. (Don’t ask me what that specifically means, because I honestly don’t know.) But for whatever reason the people in his business he had to deal with was seedy individuals and the product was just something he promoted to make a quick buck.

To be quiet honest, I don’t like coming out and telling people what to do in situations like that. Here’s what I said to him…

One of the most valuable skills one can have is the ability to listen to one’s gut.

Personally I’ve learned this the hard way and expecially with the ladies back in the days, in the early beginning of ‘the dating stage’. If my gut told me she was not worth my time I didn’t really listen. You guys know exactly what I’m talking about. Actually, gals you know it damn as well. It’s a fact that guys tend to become a little more naive the more attractive we find the female.

Ignoring my gut was a costly mistake – over and over again back in the days.

Professionally, my gut has cost me some big bucks as well.

You know what? Your gut can signal good people to you, too. It’s a two-way street.
Your gut can get you a smokin’ deal as well.

I had the opportunity to make an investment in a program, I didn’t really know the people behind the program, I didn’t know the person calling my phone, basically I didn’t know anything – other than my gut told me that this program was the right for me.

I gave this stranger my credit card information and he charged my card for several thousands, which I felt really bad about for a second – but my got told me it was the right decision to make.

To this day it has been the best professional decision I’ve ever made. I listened to my gut and luckily for me it turned out just unbelievable. It has just been GREAT. I’m so grateful I listened to my gut and not that little sceptical inner voice.

It’s not easy at first to discern the conflicting voices inside. But little by little you begin to see through the haze and hear that inner voice more clearly.

I told this person that if he ignored his gut today it would be harder to detect its voice at all tomorrow.

Never disconnect your most reliable weapon/skill/instrument.

I think he’ll do the right thing. And in the process he’ll learn a great lesson. Don’t let the money or the greed control you. You are in charge of your life and you can make money by doing something you think is enjoyable – I promise.

Listen to your gut!
