Still Bugging Friends And Family?
When you prospect for your network marketing products or services, you don’t want to waste your time with people who are not going to buy or to sign up into your M.L.M. But how do we know whether people want what we have unless we ask them?
We don’t! BUT what is the likelihood of Uncle Joe starting to consume your energy boosting, good for your health juice – slim to none, right? “But you don’t know if you don’t ask” Your upline keeps beating that phrase, wanting you to ask EVERYONE.
Not everyone is your prospect, not everyone thinks your opportunity is attractive, nor does everyone want to consume your product or service. Back to the original question; where should one focus, warm market or cold market? The answer is neither!
It’s a waste of time. What you want to do is think like a marketer and know your product or service, by knowing your product or service, the benefits they provide, you have the ability to put yourself in your prospect’s shoes. That way you become familiar with their want, needs and desires and now you can target your market.
Target your market and focus your energy on the people who do have a want, need or desire for your particular product or service. What optimizes your time and effort is when you target people who you know already have an interest in what you have to offer. This will make your job as a network marketer a lot more enjoyable.
Find your niche market and get rid of the belief that everyone is your prospect. Everyone has to eat right? Not everyone is eating at McDonald’s or at Sunset Boulevard. Both corporations understand that not everyone is their prospects, why Sunset Boulevard focused on the healthy alternative to the fast-food chains like McDonald’s.
Stop wasting time on your warm market or even the cold market. Target your market, find your niche market and you will not only experience a greater interest in your products or services but also experience how the retention rate of your costumers and distributors will go through the roof.
