The Message & The Medium You Should Use To Tripple Your Results
When I started in the network marketing industry I did exactly what I was told to do. I dragged my friends and family members to hotel meetings, I invited folks to home meetings, I presented one-on-one, I did 3-way calling.
The result. ZERO. NADA. Nothing. Nill. Nobody. A pathetic downline consisting of one distributor – my girlfriend.
Not the way to grow my business…. obviously.
The problem was not only the way I presented but the message I presented as well – the approach with ‘Let me show you how you can make a lot of money’, that didn’t work very well for me because I didn’t make any money, so there was no credibility in my presentation.
When you start to make money your friends and family will follow, they’ll start to ask questions and become interested in what you’re doing.
So you see I didn’t get any results for two reasons, the message (my presentation) and the medium I used (hotel meetings, 3-way calling etc.)
Increase Your Results Significantly By Changing The Medium And The Message
The message you should use depends on what type of product or service you are offering, if you’re in health and wellness and you’re focusing on loosing weight you should talk to people with an interest in loosing some weight – not your friends and family who are not very interested in such topic and don’t share any particular interest in weightless.
What you should say to the people you talk to who have an interest in loosing some weight should be in regards to getting the benefits of the products and getting the products for free (if they become a distributor and they start to make some money, they will get the products for free when the money they get from the company exceeds the price for the products). This way they will become a happy customer of the products and a “good” ambassador for the product – because they are using the products themselves and they (hopefully) love them.
The medium you should use when you present your opportunity and your products or services should be something that does not limit you such as a one one one presentation or a 3-way call does it. I suggest you invite people to a teleconference call that you host and you present the benefits of the products on this call and talk about how they can get the products for free by becoming a distributor. You can also host a webinar online.
So to sum it all up. Target your audience. Only talk to people with an interest in the benefits of your products or service in the beginning when you don’t have any credibility in regards to making money with the opportunity. Change the message so it focuses on the benefits of the products or services and how someone can get them for free by becoming a distributor and finally share your message via a teleconference line or by hosting a webinar online.
